Brookys New Pool

Saaaaweeet! She flew down this time! If only I could rig the slide up a little higher I think she could carry more speed and get further in the pool

What's a pool without a slide? SO I put the slide in the pool, first time down I think I gave her 2nd degree burns on her rear...forgot to wet it down. Didn't help that I couldn't find her swimsuit so I let her swim in her birthday suit.

Brooky swimming. The water was beyond cold but she insisted on swimming. So I dumped as many buckets of hot water in there as I could....still freezing!

So seriously, what do these headband things do and how do you make them work? I put it on her, but I don't think it was serving any purpose...I'm such an idiot!

Brookys new swimming pool waiting to be filled

Brooky and I listend to the Wiggles, and the song Fruit Salad came on. So Daddy made some :)

Just me wondering what I'm doing in this tree and how I got here....Belgium beer is great!

Chateau De La Hulpe

"Daddy when I go potty I get 3 cookies and movies"- Brooklyn bartering with Daddy

So many chicks IMing me telling me I need ot post more often, so I thought I better do so before they showed up at my house and caused my wife to wonder.

This morning Brooklyn and I went to Chateau De La Hulpe http://forums.mooseyscountrygarden.com/garden717.html (only link I could find in English).

Unfortunately the camera ran out of battery after one picture, but probably for the best since Mandy was unable to upload any pictures and had to clear the card to make it work. So Brooklyn and I will be going back tomorrow to get pictures and exercise. The grounds are beautiful, the chateau is incredible, and the trails....I'm bringing the mountain bike this weekend! There's a number of ducks at the various ponds, so we will be sure to bring bread so Brooky can feed them tomorrow.

Since I have no pictures to post today, I figured I would just post a picture of something random.

I really like this bike, and Brooky keeps saying "Daddy buy the Ellswooth", but I keep telling her no, her education comes first.

'Roughin it'

"I need to go out and chew on that tree" Brooklyn

This morning Brooklyn and I got up and went to a forest area not far from our house that has some amazing mountain bike trails. Brooklyn got muddy, Daddy wished he had his bike with him so all was great :) I'll try to convince Mandy that Brooky needs a four wheeler to ride there, but somehow I doubt she will go for it.

What??? No Fireworks in Belgium????

"Daddy, tomorrow we can go to the Forest to find the Wizzard!"- Brooklyn

Mandy has arrived safe and sound from Ireland, just in time to take Brooklyn to the new Narnia movie. She really didn't too too bad, other than wanting to sit with Mommy one minute and then Daddy the next. Not a bad movie either, but I don't think it was based on a true story :)

Brooklyn and I went to the forest today to take a walk on one of the trails. It was funny to see her face when we got out of the car, because I really don't know that she knew what to think. Once I got her to the trail, she became very excited, and wanted Daddy to run and skip with her to the tune of the Wizzard of Oz. Now since I've seen the movie one hundred billion times, I was able to carry a tune, and really didn't care what the other people thought because heck, they probably couldn't understand me anyways.

We are missing the 4th of July Celebrations in the States. You know, the cookouts, the beer, the bonfires, the blowing up old RC cars or action figures. Hope everyone is enjoying theirs and is reasonably safe, meaning bottle rockets need to hit below the neck to count.

Last but not least, I made spaghetti tonight for Brook and I, and of course, here is the outcome...
