Once again we went to the Chateau for a little exercise. At Grammy's request, I grabbed the camera and took a few pics. She looooooves feeding the ducks and horses, and of course jumping in any mud/water puddle possible!

Back in the Saddle Again

Hmmmm, so I sit here and think of all of the reasons that I may or may not have had for not writing on this blog for over two weeks. I have come up with a few creative ones, however I think it is best to just tell the truth. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so hopefully this will anser all of your questions and you will forgive my absence for so long:

That's right, Brooklyn and I have been running Disney, which has since changed the name to Matt Disney World. As you all know from Mandy's Blog, Brooky turned two on July 30th, so we took her to Disney Paris. Had a blast. Can't remember what pictures Mandy posted, but here are a few from our trip to go with the first pic. AMazing that they actually made statues of us like that, just can't figure out why they only painted our faces.

When at Disney, why not drop the straps and tan right? I mean this is an adult theme park right?

Daddy and Brooklyn on Dumbo. It had a lever that allowed you to go up and down which she loved!

Brookys forst roller coaster. Notice how her arms are in the air...shes fearless!!!

Brook digging into her B-Day treat at Planet Hollywood...and she did not leave any!Thats right! Forget baby dolls and junk. I'm so proud to say her favorite toy is: Buzz Lightyear!

I only did this because Mommy said sit down, be quiet, put this on, look straight ahead or you get no lunch....yeah...yeah...I'm pretty sure that's how it went.

As some may know, Mandy decided that she wanted to try her hand at Mountain biking. SO after many arguements and many visits to the bike store, we finally found the bike that had great components, was light, and of course fit her color needs. I am very happy in her choice of bikes, she did great. What impressed me even more was her first time out on the trail. I think I have a pic here:

OK ok, here are the real pics. As you can see, we also got Brooky a new helmet and a cart to ride in. Unfortunately the cart will not fit on my bike, but with a litle work, my goal it to make an adapter to make it fit on my bike so I can pull her too.

Brookys New Pool

Saaaaweeet! She flew down this time! If only I could rig the slide up a little higher I think she could carry more speed and get further in the pool


What's a pool without a slide? SO I put the slide in the pool, first time down I think I gave her 2nd degree burns on her rear...forgot to wet it down. Didn't help that I couldn't find her swimsuit so I let her swim in her birthday suit.

Brooky swimming. The water was beyond cold but she insisted on swimming. So I dumped as many buckets of hot water in there as I could....still freezing!



So seriously, what do these headband things do and how do you make them work? I put it on her, but I don't think it was serving any purpose...I'm such an idiot!

Brooky and I listend to the Wiggles, and the song Fruit Salad came on. So Daddy made some :)
